Ac 9:37; GPt 6:24. Of persons who have been scourged ἔλουσεν ἀπὸ τῶν πληγῶν he washed their wounds (lit., ‘by washing he freed them from the effects of the blows’) Ac 16:33 (on the constr. w. ἀπό s. 3 below.
